Privacy Notice  

Iakovos Photiades Foodstuff Suppliers Ltd is committed to protecting your privacy and your personal information. This Privacy Notice, sets out all the relevant information regarding the processing of your personal information such as the types of personal information we collect, how we collect and process that information, who we share it with in relation to the services and the contests we provide to you and certain rights and options that you have in this respect.

Iakovos Photiades Foodstuff Suppliers Ltd located at 166 Yiannou Kranidioti Avenue, 2235, Latsia, Nicosia, Cyprus (hereinafter referred as “IPH”, “We”, “us” or “our”) is responsible for your personal data. IPH is the Controller and for the purposes of applicable data protection law (the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the "GDPR")) and your personal data will be collected, maintained and processed by IPH in accordance with the GDPR.

When you take part in our Competitions, we collect and process the following personal data from you:

We only use your personal information for the purposes defined in this Privacy Notice. If we intended to use your personal data for another purpose, we will inform you accordingly.  

  1. How and why do we collect and process your personal data?

We collect personal data that you provided when you entered into the competition in order to register you in the competition and communicate with you or contacting you in case you are the lucky winner of our competition. If you fail to provide us with your personal information we will not be able to register you in our competition and you will miss the change to win our incredible prizes.

In this specific case, we do not receive your data for any communication regarding marketing material or purposes such as advertising products and/or services.

On which legal basis we rely for processing your personal data?

We will process your personal data for the purposes of running the competition on the basis of the performance of the contract that you conclude with us when you enter the competition.

  1. Retention period

We will not retain your data for longer than is necessary to fulfil the purpose it is being processed for. To determine the appropriate retention period, we consider the amount, nature and sensitivity of the personal data, the purposes for which we process it and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means. We must also consider periods for which we might need to retain personal data in order to meet our legal obligations or to deal with complaints, queries and to protect our legal rights in the event of a claim being made.

When we no longer need your personal data, we will securely delete or destroy it.

We have put in place appropriate security policies, rules and technical measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, unauthorized modified, used or accessed, altered or disclosed. We have also put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you of a breach where we are legally required to do so.

This Privacy Notice may be amended from time to time. If we do so, to ensure that you are always aware of how we use your personal data we will supply you with and/or otherwise make available to you a copy of the amended Privacy Notice. However, we encourage you to review this Privacy Notice periodically to be informed of how we use your personal data.
